To the Laney Family:

I will always remember the times when Mother Vivian, Mother Mary Rich and I would sat around Mother Rich's Kitchen table eating, laughing, and discussing LIFE. Mother Vivian with her Pepsi, and her stories, I will always cherish. Rest now Mother. I LOVE YOU!

Mother Jones was such a sweetheart and a true Woman of Faith! Pre-Covid, I would stop by her home (prior to her going to nursing home), just to sit and talk with her. She would show me her pictures of all of her family throughout her home and give some encouraging history and insight. She would talk about how she, my Grandmother Sybil Wilson, and Mother Mary Rich, would stay together on many occasions in hotels as they traveled with the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly, etc. I am so glad that Grandma Sybil and Mother Jones saw one another again before she got sick and before my Grandmother went home to be with the Lord (October 2020).

We will miss her and love her dearly. It won't be the same, after COVID, that I will be unable to stop by and visit her. Rest easy, Mother Jones. The ANGELS IN HEAVEN ARE REJOICING!
